First EuroSEAS Masterclass in Southeast Asia!

The first EuroSEAS Masterclass in Southeast Asia was a very successfull event. The masterclass was organized by former EuroSEAS president Professor Silvia Vignato (Università degli Studi di Milano-Bicocca), EuroSEAS board member Dr. Antonia Soriente (University of Naples ‘L’Orientale’ ) and Dr. Grace Leksana and her team at the State University of Malang, East-Java, Indonesia, from 22 & 23 May.

24 PhD students, mostly from Southeast Asian institutions, participated in this event. They were supervised by 5 professors and senior researchers who were based in, amongst other countries, Singapore, Australia and the Philippines. 

The aim of this PhD workshop was to bring together young academics from different disciplines focusing on a diverse range of topics concerning Southeast Asia. 

The masterclass was followed by a side event Creating popular materials from your research on 23 & 24 May.
