Call for papers – CLOSED

The 13th EuroSEAS conference will be held at the University of Amsterdam, The Netherlands from 23-25 July 2024 with a masterclass on 22 July and an excursion on 26 July 2024.

As an international and multi-disciplinary scholarly organisation, EuroSEAS invites scholars and PhD students from all academic disciplines with an interest in Southeast Asia to present a paper in one of the selected panels or other formats (see list below) at the EuroSEAS conference in Amsterdam. The selection committee has accepted around 115 panels, laboratories, roundtables  & film screenings + discussions.
 
EuroSEAS wishes to promote diversity in every form. Panel conveners are urged to pay attention to diversity when selecting papers for their sessions.

Interested in presenting a paper in a panel or participating in another format?

If you want to participate in a panel or other format, please contact the convener(s) directly and/or send your (paper) abstract directly to the convener(s), not to the EuroSEAS secretariat, before 30 March 2024. EuroSEAS will not accept abstracts/proposals that are not part of a panel or other format.

Conveners

Conveners have to inform the EuroSEAS secretariat (euroseas@kitlv.nl) about the abstracts/ proposals they have accepted before 10 April 2024.
 

Important deadlines

30 March 2024: Submission (paper) abstracts/proposals to convener
10 April 2024: Confirmation accepted abstracts/proposals by conveners to EuroSEAS secretariat (euroseas@kitlv.nl)
10 April 2024: Deadline early bird fee
20 May 2024: Deadline final registration & payment for all participants*
 
*After 20 May 2024 it is only possible to register and finalize the payment if you wish to join as a spectator. 
 

Conference registration

Online registration for the conference will start on 1 February 2024. More information will follow.
